The Silver Shine‘s 11th platter, “Roadworn Soul” comprises 10 songs, 8 superb originals and 2 inspired covers, namely Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising” and Lynn Anderson’s “Rose Garden”. A classic vintage punk rock & roll sound just like on the band’s previous albums, with a unique lineup: a thunder-handed female upright bassist, Krista Kat, Gretsch endorsee Ati EDGE with his screamin’ guitar, and drummer Peete Jones. Besides Social Distortion-type Punk Rock Songs, there are also a number of Rockabilly and Psychobilly-influenced numbers evoking the early years of the band. For fans of Motörhead, Social Distortion, Joan Jett and The Living End 🙂
